This was not a gorgeous day but had a beautiful setting at a ranch in Orange. We felt like we weren’t in California anymore. The ceremony location was set on an old stable that was surrounded by a white fence and the Chuppah was settled under a huge gorgeous tree. The only problem this day had was that the weather report said rain a few days ago. As a professional I like to follow up with my couples and confirm the details of the day incase there are any changes and I asked for a plan B in case it rains. The groom however didn’t see rain in the weather report and continued with the same plan.
A few hours after we set up and started driving to our 2nd location of the day in Malibu, it started to pour. I called my groom to make sure everything was okay and to let him know that he can throw the fabric in the dryer should it comes to that but he again declined and hoped the rain would stop. To make the matters from worst to best, I then found out that the happy bride and groom exchanged their vows under the rain and the wet Chuppah and didn’t try to cover it up. That is the most romantic story; we have been a part of. Congratulations!
